Anno 1589 den 17 Februar Martin von Hoff-Schnorbein in seinem 18 Jahre von David ü. Borwitz auf Dürsswitz in der Behausung das Hauses ............initz zu Ausche erleibt. worden, diese That wurde vor den durchlauchten Fürsten / den / Herrn Fredrich Herzog in Schlesien zu Liegnitz und Brieg als dem Landeshaupten gebracht; der Thäter gab die Aussage den Brüdern Christof Siegmunt und George von Hoff-Schnorbein und den Blutsverwandten dadurch eine Genugtnung zu leisten daß er eine Summe Geldes zum Besten des Gotteshauses und zur Errichtung eines Epitaphiums bewiligste und auch e............. Es.. urde hierauf sowahl ni der Kirche zu Ingramsdorf als auch Wacherau, diese Epitaphium zu einem Bedächtnisse und zur Zierwand................ |
| In 1587, on February 17th, Martin von Hoff-Schnorbein at the age of eighteen gave up his ghost becouse of David von Borwitz, the Lord of Dursswitz at home .................... This act was reported before a countenance of the Majesty of the Prince of Legnica and Brzeg who was a lieutenant of the Province of Silesia. The perpetrator confessed to this act in his brother's presence ; Christopher, Zygmunt and Gregory also in the presence of his closest relatives. Willing to give some redress he allocated some amount of money to the needs of the House of Lord. Thanks to this event epitaphs came into being at church in Imbramowice and in Wacherau as well. This epitaph is supposed to be designed for reflection ( meditation) , warning as much as a decoration of the temple. |
